Senior Product Manager - Supply Chain & Warehouse

Build the systems that make every unit of inventory - and every minute it spends moving - visible and accountable across sellers, first mile, Mother Hubs and darkstores.

Role Overview

Bijnis is looking for a product leader to own the technology powering Supply and Warehouse operations across sellers, first mile, Mother Hubs and darkstores.

This is a ground-heavy role. You will work closely with Supply and Warehousing teams, understand how inventory actually moves, and convert operational complexity into dependable systems, measurable workflows and better decisions.

The Mandate

Own and improve two critical outcomes:

  • Fulfilment: Reduce end-to-end TAT across every leg of the supply chain
  • Availability: Improve inventory fill rates without creating excess stock, ageing or operational complexity

You Will Own the Product Systems Behind

  • Seller order processing and purchase-order workflows
  • SKU replenishment and inventory allocation
  • Warehouse systems for Mother Hubs and darkstores
  • First-mile processing, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch
  • Supply-chain control towers, reporting and exception management

Build the Intelligence Layer of the Supply Chain

This role requires more than designing operational screens. You will need to understand how data flows across systems - and build a reliable digital trail for every order and unit of inventory.

You will ensure that:

  • Every supply-chain leg has a defined start event, end event, owner and SLA
  • Quantities reconcile across ordered, ready, picked up, received, allocated, packed and delivered states
  • Partial fulfilment is visible at SKU and order-line level
  • Reporting identifies outliers instead of only showing averages
  • Teams can drill into each leg to understand where TAT or fill rate deteriorated
  • Delays, shortages and discrepancies are surfaced before they affect darkstore availability
  • Operational systems and management reporting operate from the same source of truth

The Goal

When an order is delayed or inventory goes missing, the system should explain where, why, since when and who must act next.

Example Focus Areas

  • Pre-stocking at Mother Hubs: Build replenishment systems that maintain a continuous flow of the right SKUs to darkstores while controlling ageing and working capital
  • Direct factory-to-darkstore flows: Enable selected inventory to bypass Mother Hubs through controlled, traceable and measurable workflows
  • Processing at first-mile hubs: Move sorting, consolidation, labelling or packing upstream where it can reduce downstream handling and fulfilment time
  • Seller order processing: Create clear workflows for PO acknowledgement, corrections, readiness, partial supply and pickup
  • Warehouse execution: Improve receiving, reconciliation, putaway, allocation, picking, packing and dispatch across Mother Hubs and darkstores

Your Scoreboard

  • End-to-end fulfilment TAT
  • TAT for each individual supply-chain leg
  • SKU and order-line fill rates
  • Mother Hub and darkstore availability
  • Seller processing and ready-for-pickup TAT
  • Receiving-to-available and pick-to-dispatch TAT
  • Inventory and quantity reconciliation accuracy
  • Exception ageing and closure time
  • Replenishment effectiveness and recurring stockout reduction
  • Adoption and reliability of Supply and Warehouse systems

What You Will Do

  • Set the product strategy for Bijnis's Supply and Warehouse ecosystem
  • Build connected systems across procurement, seller collaboration, replenishment, WMS and fulfilment
  • Design the event, state and data models required to trace inventory through the network
  • Create smart operational reporting that detects outliers and identifies root causes
  • Review TAT and fulfilment performance leg by leg - not only through aggregated metrics
  • Spend meaningful time at warehouses, darkstores, seller locations and operating reviews
  • Work closely with Supply, Warehousing, First Mile, Engineering, Design and Data teams
  • Lead a focused product team accountable for operational outcomes, not feature delivery
  • Determine when a problem needs software - and when it needs a process, policy or operating-model change

You May Be the Right Person If

  • You have built products in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, B2B commerce, marketplaces or retail technology
  • You have worked on WMS, OMS, replenishment, procurement, seller or fulfilment platforms
  • You understand inventory as quantities moving through interconnected states and systems
  • You can design metrics from underlying events rather than relying on static dashboards
  • You are comfortable with APIs, system boundaries, data lineage and event-driven workflows
  • You can distinguish a reporting symptom from the operational or technical root cause
  • You understand partial fulfilment, inventory reconciliation and real-world exceptions
  • You can move comfortably between architecture discussions, warehouse-floor workflows and business reviews
  • You earn trust with operators by understanding their work before redesigning it

This Role May Not Be for You If

  • You believe product ownership ends when a purchase order is created
  • You prefer feature roadmaps to measurable operating outcomes
  • You are satisfied with averages that hide operational outliers
  • You treat reporting as separate from product architecture
  • You are uncomfortable spending time in warehouses or working through messy exceptions
  • You expect technology to compensate for unclear ownership or a broken process

What Success Looks Like

In your first year:

  • Every important inventory movement has a reliable event trail, owner and timestamp
  • Teams can identify exactly where fulfilment is delayed and what action is required
  • TAT and fill-rate outliers are surfaced automatically
  • Inventory quantities reconcile across seller, first-mile, Mother Hub and darkstore systems
  • Replenishment becomes more predictable and recurring stockouts become diagnosable
  • Supply and Warehousing teams operate through reliable, adopted product workflows
